Crochet Diaper Cover Video Tutorial

Are you a new to crochet? Or maybe you've been crocheting for a while, but this is your first time making a diaper cover? No problem! This super easy crochet diaper cover pattern and video tutorial will walk you through the process of creating your very own.

Whether you're brand new to crochet or just need a refresher on the basics, this pattern is perfect for you. Plus, it's quick and easy to follow, so you can get started right away!

Substituting Yarn

Because of the way this sizing on this diaper cover works you can easily sub a worsted weight yarn.  The adjustable waist makes it super easy to keeping it fitting perfect. If you need a little more coverage another round of sc or hdc looks great too!

The yarn I used the chunky crochet diaper cover was the old Bernat Chunky which has now been discontinued. It has a, YARN GAUGE of 11sc x 12 rows with 6 mm hook. The yarns below would be great substitutes.

Patons Shetland Chunky – Beautiful yarn 75% acrylic and 25% wool wish can be machine washed – lay flat to dry.

Red Heart Hygge – This yarn is incredibly soft – it has a soft texture which would add extra dimension to this crochet headband. It comes in a lot of colours and some multi-tones as well.

Lion Brand Scarfie Yarn – This is a really fun yarn that will add life and colour to your crochet headband. It comes in many colour combinations making it great yarn to choose if you love to snazz things up a bit.
